why Aftermarket JDM Exhaust

Default why Aftermarket JDM Exhaust

I know they are called dolphin tips, but they look like all the tips that diesel car has I am curious to understand the reason of this tips,
Diesel car has this design becasue is mandatory in Europe, since they make lot of black smoke, well call them "squid"

I agree, those tips look like crap. Make the car look like a cracker jack box car. "But its JDM Yo"

Its just as ugly as the opposite of that, the German DTM tips, which stick up and out like a bent plumming pipe.

I see lot of VW Golf and Opels with those DTM tips, 90% of th eare diesel car
