Kinda upsetting to see Japanese aftermarket parts being so DAMN expensive compared to Euro tuner parts for VW, BMW, MBZ! What's up with that???

Well, Brabus, AC Scnitzer, etc are mad expensive!! Japanese parts are expensive cuz their yen is so strong, well not anymore, so this is the time to buy! The prices are normal for them, but when they do the conversion to USD, it's expensive for us.

i highly suggest that you contact the following companies:
http://www.fritz.com/
http://www.baxglobal.com/
and find out the typical costs associated with importing something from Japan.

The prices are high because we are willing to pay high prices, that's all. The parts cost the same in the US with a strong yen as they do now with a weak yen. No one has dropped their prices as the yen as dropped, I don't see King or any other import house discounting their prices...so why is this a good time to buy? (I bet that they raise prices when the yen starts to strengthen, though.)
You are right that our prices should be dropping because of the weak yen, but the importers are keeping that money as profit, not passing it on to their customers. In the end we are being raped because we allow it...if no one was willing to pay these prices, prices would drop fast.
My 2 cents,

No offense to anyone, but why complain about the prices? We bought a rare pure bred sports car that is a limited production vehicle. We have a Honda S2000, not a civic or an integra, so prices for aftermarket parts are going to be expensive. You sort of take that responsibility when you buy this car with the intention of adding performance parts. And I just feel that japanese parts are much better quality wise and performance wise, but that is purely my opinion.
