I wonder if I have a chance to do it again in the cold weather, since I can't even wash the car.
BTW, does any of you FF or zaino user polish the bottom of the edges on each side of the car?
It's that rough paint surface that looks and feels very tough.
I usually ignore it since that part is going to take abuses from mud and rocks anyway.

Pig,

I always wash the bottom rough edge of the car to get all the dirt off, but I don't wax it (Zaino user here). Don't really see a point to doing that

Depends on where you live and how much external exposure your car gets to the great outdoors. I took the meguiars test and they recommended I wax my stook at least ten times a year (Louisville,Ky). Of course with their products. I use finish first and I think two coats and then one every three months would do the job. However, with a small car and as easy as FF is to use I will be waxing it probably six or eight times a year. My Durango isn't so lucky.

I'm still wondering how I'm gonna get the salt off the bottom during the winter.
I turned off my outside water pipes for the year.

I use the Simple Green bug and tar remover pads on the nose as well as the very bottom parts of the car. They work very well. Maybe try something like Simple Green automotive de-greaser?? Read the label, not sure if this can be used on the paint or not. Also, you could take a bucket of warm water and a soft sponge from inside the house out to the S and clean the rough part that way
