Would you rather buy 68k miles vs 125k miles with notes inside
Hey Guys,
Both cars are same year and color. One has 68k miles and the other 125k. Driving both, they both seem fine. Exterior and interior look similar in quality. The cars cost within ~$5000 of eachother The 69k has..

If I had to choose, I choose the 125K for the matching VINs and records.
But I would wait for other options. Good luck! |
Without knowing anything else and in pure theory I would buy the second car but I bet if you looked close enough you could find substantial differences in maintenance and component wear. It really depends on your goals though, do you just want to get into a reliable s2000 and drive, drive, drive? Or do you want a garage queen that holds value? Do you want something else entirely? Personally, I would go with whatever is the better combo of well-maintained/not abused and likely to not lose too much value.

What year are these cars? Neither sounds good to me. What the heck is " rebuilt head as preventative valve seat loss"?

neither choice is a great choice.

The 125K miles car seems to be the better of the two for the most part minus the "rebuilt head as preventative valve seat loss". Is it a fancy way of saying "this an AP1 that has its retainers replaced"?

Thanks for the feedback guys. Both cars are 2007 ap2s :)

What are the prices? Just curious. For a bit over $20K-$22K you should be able to get the same model year car with with all 10 VINs and mileage close to 50K
