Ummm... went to the dealer last night to drool over the Spa S2K they just got in. It's been sitting there three days, and apparently there is no deal made on the car. This came from the service manager, but he appeared to know what he was talking about. He had the key, let us sit in it and start it up. We drooled over the car for an hour. I don't know if we can wait the 5 weeks it will take to get ours!

So if anyone wants one, give Bob Rohrman in Schaumburg a call. Not sure how they deal on these things, but there car is there and unspoken for. Too bad our deposit is non-refundable!

I just got off the phone with them, and sure enough, they do still have it, however they want 6k over msrp, 38k! I think I'll wait for mine to come in....

They may have it for a while if that's what they are asking. I bet if someone went in there and sat down and said I'll drive off today at some lower amount they might go for it... however the ethics of that dealer are alledgedly questionable, so who knows!

Hey all,

Schaumburg Honda- Horrible Sales department. Absolutely the WORST I have ever experienced- think of them as a Bizarro Lexus. Great Service department though- they almost make up for the atrocities from the front!

Ill have to agree. Schaumburg Honda has the WORST service when dealing with sales, and their mark-ups are out there to rape you. I know a couple of people in there too, and they are very stiff about the pricing because of course they are located in a 'rich' area. Too bad they wont budge, Ive already tried last year =p

Their service dept is top notch quality though!! Great friends in there and great service.

About the track-day... I already had plans for this weekend, otherwise I would have gone. Man, I can't get one of these to work out! Are you game for the autocross in Danville the weekend after next? There are about 5-6 of us going down there from Chicago.
