I have a while before I have to think about tires (just passed 600miles last night, yay vtec!), but has anyone put Toyo RA1's on as street tires? Theyve got just great grip, are alright in the rain (while they have tread), and people I've know with them as street tires on Miatas and MR2's(driven hard with aggressive suspensions) got 10-15k mi on them, including a few track days.

I havent priced a set for the s2k, but i suspect they will likely come out cheaper than OEM S02's. So even if they lasted a couple thousand less miles, it might be worth looking into.

Or Yoko A032R's perhaps?

I had RA1s on my old MR-2T and I found them lacking in many respects, I sold the car before I got to see how long htye really lasted. IMO they would have outlasted the S2Ks S-02s.
