Cool You Know What I Just Love About These Cars.....

I just got it back from the dealer and it's running 100% again, apparently there is some odd method to burp the rad that is special on these....anyway to the point. When I drive this car, and the sun is setting, and the top is down.....I feel like a million freaking dollars and no other car that I've ever driven has given me the same feeling. Not Audi's, not Porsche's, nothing. The S2k is pure automotive bliss and I give Honda a high five for this one

Yup. This car is a joy to drive. Specs don't often communicate that, either.

Glad your S is up an running like new!

YES, the S is the complete opposite of a people mover.

Nothing but a real driver's car. For people who drive for fun.

Everything from the glove fit of the inside to one of the best handling cars in the world.

Nothing like getting your car back from having a problem to let you appreciate what you have

So true! The S never gave me much trouble but my Z was always in the shop.... actually that is why bought the S. I wanted something new and worry free.

Same for me today... just did complete tune up all fluids, plugs and valves. Feels like a brand new car with 65k on the clock. Oh yeah I am bolting on the Berk test pipe next week. cant wait for the VAFC tune after that.

OOO you have a 86 z31?
That was my last car...
I bought it for 700 bucks, dumped about 1000 bucks into a new paint job and rebuilt the engine, also reupholstered the whole interior

I love the Z's... 189k miles and zero issues
I also turbocharged mine with parts off an 88. Fun, cheap stuff. I bought the entire turbo kit used for 250 bucks

Miss my Z

I also bought the S because I wanted a car that I wouldn't have to fix and newer than 2000...
So far I've spent waaaay over 2k fixing my S for stupid crap that shouldn't have broken with Honda reliability and all... I have bad luck with Honda.

I had the worst luck with Ford, it got so bad I sued Ford under the lemon law.....and won needless to say a quick radiator fix is fine with me since it didn't cost me a dime and the dealer was really good and apologetic about it. The other thing I love about this car is that even after driving a 997 GT3 I got back in the S2K and it didn't feel like a hunk of crap.....nothing like my past cars. I used to get out of the GT3 and feel bad when I drove home but now it's just as much fun and I love it so damn much
