awesome printout. Who did the valve adjustment? Did they print that out for you?

Thanks. I did the valve adjustment and tabulated the results in a table using Excel.

Still trying to determine the link.

To ease your mind, my car has had header, test pipe and full exhaust for 100k miles.

Valve clearance has not changed in over 100k.

Have recently done a few 06+ cars. Both had a few intake and exhaust valves that were slightly tight, nothing grossly out of spec (below 0.008). Both had 60k miles+.

The worst valve was a thou or two tight on the exhaust side, and a few were a thou or two loose, mostly intake side. Adjusted all valves to the upper range and cars ran great.

Billman, if there are aftermarket cams on the car (ex. BC2), could I still use your recommendations?

Thanks

I would definitely check valve clearance more often with aftermarket cams.

Forgot to mention my car is a '07 with bc2 cams and supertech beehive springs and retainers.

Use the numbers BC recommends.
