I'm on the 27AH, while oldtrlrnr is on the 36AH. Car starts like a champ.
Subjectively, I think this hard a larger effect on my car's handling than my exhaust did, since the weight is much higher off the ground.

$315 from www.batterystuff.com, no sales tax. About double the cost of a good AGM lead-acid battery, but claims to last much longer. The rep at BatteryStuff was very helpful, answered all my questions. Their website had helpful info too.
As for adapting the terminals, just reread my post with the photos - I don't know how to describe it better than that - all it took was a pair of pliers and a 10mm socket & wrench. The stock cable terminals are round to fit on the battery's terminal posts, but are quite malleable - I just squeezed them flat, tweaked a little so the bolt holes on both sides lined up, and bolted them to the L-brackets on the new battery's terminals. If you enlarge one of the photos of the battery in my engine bay, you'll see how they are attached.

Quick followup.
Battery is SO small that I had a difficult time actually securing it down with the OEM bracket, even using the provided foam. It is now secured using some (very) heavy duty zip ties in conjunction with the OEM brace. I plan on eventually getting a custom bracket fabbed up to hold it better and permanently. The zip ties definitely do their job for now though.

I've been looking everywhere for the optional Shorai SAE battery posts.
Batterystuff.com doesn't seem to carry these.
Psychoazn, where did you get your battery posts adapters at?
I'll check Pepp Boys and home depot maybe.
