ACT pressure plate with oem clutch disc?
So, i installed a a ACT pressure plate, six puck disc and light weight flywheel on my car about two years ago and I've decided to convert my car back to stock yea yea i know. Maybe use it as my DD for a while. I just dropped my trannie to put back in the oem disc and was considering leaving the ACT pressure plate on the car. Does anybody see any problem with this?? I want factory drivability and i figured the pressure plate would add a little grip. I definitely want to get rid of the clutch buzz. What do you think??

Years ago the ACT street disc was a OEM Honda disc. Hardtopguy used to sell OEM discs with ACT pressure plates as well.
As long as the 6 puck ACT pressure plate is the same, it should be fine.

An AP2 with OEM clutch and ACT PP is a pretty common setup from what I've seen here. Its what I plan to go to when my clutch goes out.
OEM disk should cure clutch buzz, and the ACT PP is 150-200% firmer than OEM I believe so you will get good take up. With OEM flywheel the car will be very easy to drive casually as well.
