Adding 2nd O2 bung before cat
I recently purchased an Innovate Motorsports LM-2 in preparation for slight tuning changes with a VAFCII style piggy-back.
After looking at the OEM manifold, the most obvious location is right behind the front OEM sensor. I'm curious whether this location will cause accuracy issues, as the sensor will be exposed to a disrupted gas stream.
The other option is to place the sensor in the lower half of the tubing, which is advised against in the instructions. Also, it would be more exposed to road debris, etc.
Has anyone tried this sensor location for a 3rd O2 sensor? I can imagine it would be difficult to quantify the error that could be caused, but opinions would be appreciated.
Thanks!
