Default AEM Base map Usable?

Remove my turbo kit from my car and decided to stick with the AEM EMS. Im currently running a omni bar map sensor and 750CC injectors. Saturday, I'm scheduled to get a tune to revert the car back to stock but was wondering if I should wait until i get there to switch out the injectors/map sensor? Ive read conflicting information on how good or bad the aem ems base map file is, especially on cold start ups. What do you guys think/recommend. I would rather have everything setup before I get to the tuner but if the aem ems base map for the s2000 is really that bad, rather wait.

My other option, was to keep the map sensor the same and just switch out the injectors. In this case, I believe I would only need to trim/add fuel. If someone thinks this can work, please advise me on what I would need to change in the AEM Ems Map file.

Thanks in advance

Got some advice locally which they said all I would need to do is switch the injector size on the Aem ems? Is this all that's needed? Seems too easy but who knows.

I have a stock setup using an AEM. The base map is really rich. If you plan to keep the AEM, get it tuned. I was sorry I did not tune it sooner. The black soot on the rear bumper was a tel tail sign.

Yea that's what I read. I found on another site that all that you would need to do is go to the primary injector battery offset and select your injector. Then go to your fuel map and change the injector size/fuel pressure and set the fuel psi the same. Can anyone confirm if that's all that is needed?

I would wait if I were you. I had a completely stock car and the basemap was pretty bad. Hard to start and really really rich.

At least wait until you get the stock injectors back in there. I can also send you my tune if you want to try to use it. But mine is for stock injectors. All I had was tp and exhaust when I got a tune.

The aem is a v1. Removed out the 750cc injectors but noticed some of the seals were bad. So I'm waiting for a seal kit to come in to install the stock ones.

Save your money on the tune and buy a v2. The v1 is garbage. Aem made a ton of improvements on the v2. The base map on a v2 is a little rich, but it's plug and play. The v1 I had wouldn't cold start, even with a tune.
