max, i suggest removing the front bumper for the install. if you do that, instead of modifying that beam in front of the snorkle or modifying the end of the snorkel, here's what i did...remove the two bolts on each side of that beam that are right in front of the radiator (they'll be black screws). once you do this, you can tilt the beam up towards you, and the snorkle will slide right through. the only difficult part is screwing the two bolts on the passenger's side of the beam in. it can be done if you don't have too big of a ratchet.

i'm in the middle of installing mine right now, and i've only got the snorkle part bolted in.

if you figure out how to get the little (forgetting the term right now ) thing that the hoses connect to that screws onto the subframe bar with that spacer provided, please let me know. after i get that, attaching the rest will be easy, and then i'm just onto cutting the hood.

Hey, I did the install, everything works and fits pretty good. The only problem is my VIS J's style hood won't close! Anyone else have a similar problem or sudgestions? Thanks
