Default Anyone cdhanged steering wheels?

I'm wanting to change my wheel to a momo or a sparco, something with the flat bottom. I'm a big guy and the extra room would be nice. I'm just wondering if anyone has done it yet. Who makes an adapter, is it the same as a civic or accord or something? Also will my SRS idiot light come on when I lose the airbag?
Obviously I'd love to change to a JDM VGS wheel but I don't know where to get one and I'm sure its a major chunk of change!

any info would be great,
thanks guys

I've e-mailed everyone who sells momo and sparco wheels and it goes like this;
There are no, and will be no, hub listings from Momo or Sparco models made after 1997 when the mandatory airbag law went into effect. Their e-mail goes on to say, however, check with speed shops specializing in your car as they may have them for circuit driving.
OK, I called King because they more then specialize and they do have them for $350ish in billet. Add a wheel, horn button and adapt the cruise control and you're up to about 7 bills.
In addition, I would not remove the airbag without adding a 4 point harness so, for me, it'd be over a G. A little more of an undertaking than anticipated.

Venom,

It'd be easier and cheaper to make seat brackets that lower your seat. I thought someone on here was already working on them.

The stock seat can go no lower, the rear of it is already touching the floor.
CoralDoc tried removing the bottom cushion to acquire headroom, but had problems getting the leather to look right with less pading. I have heard that of the racing seats that fit, (several Sparco and Mugen) anything over a 34" waist is tight.
Kirkey builds custom seats, but they are high sided racing seats and difficult to get in and out of as a daily driver.
It's a solution I look for when I can find time, but intangibles keep popping up making this a larger issue than it should be, no pun intended.

thanks for the replies guys,
I already have 4 points installed, I'm just looking for a little more clearance under the wheel for entering and exiting the car. At 6'5" and 285 lb, it's tight!
I found out no one made an adapter specifically for the S2K, that's why I was hoping maybe it would interchange with an accord or a civic or something.
I guess I'll try taking the wheel off and going through a few of Grant's adapters and see if the splines will work, I know I can get a Momo/Sparco to Grant adapter

I still wonder if the ECU will bitch about the airbag being removed.
The cruise will be a fun issue to deal with too.
