AP1 and AP2 Rear Swaybar Interchangable?

Default AP1 and AP2 Rear Swaybar Interchangable?
I'm pretty sure that the softer AP2 swaybar (MY04+) will fit an AP2 (pre MY04) chassis. Can anyone confirm? Has anyone done the swap?
