AP1 blows cold air but no heat. HELP

I finally finished my s2000 from a rebuild after the cam sprocket bolt came loose and starved the head with oil. Can find out more in my last threads, Long story short i bought a new head and re used the block after checking the bearings and cylinder walls, today was the first day i started it up and turned up instantly. Valves seem to be a little loud but need to re adjust the valve clearance to be a little tighter but other than that the motor sounds healthy! I have been trying to bleed the coolant system but noticed the air wasnt getting hot. I bleed the system 3 times and still doesnt get hot? The car isnt over heating or im pretty sure i got all the air out of the system. I checked to see if the valve was working by the fire wall and it opened up and closed as it should.. I dont really care about the heater here in FL but want to make sure its nothing major?

Warning. Do not drive it, for risk of overheating and causing major damage.

Does not sound like you got the air out of the system.

What was your exact coolant bleed procedure? This is the right way to do it:

Yes i followed those steps only thing i didnt do is open radiator cap cuz its already open with my big yellow filler bowl or whatever you call that thing to get the extra air bubbles out like the old school way. Is that what i am doing wrong? The previous owner said he never had heat and didnt know why when the car never over heated?

It is a stock radiator? Nothing done to the interior heater?

Keep bleeding the radiator, until you get hot air out of the heating system.

It has a mishimoto radiator. The previous owner was a friend of mine and he never had an over heating issue when the heat was not working.

I just bleed the system about 10 times following billmans exact procedure and still no heat coming from my vents. The car does not over eat not one bit stays at 3 bars. When loosening the bleeder screw from the intake manifold I hear no hiss either when I loosened the screw slowly. I even let the car idle for 20mins revving it and watching temps stay at 3 bars and the fans turning on and off.. like I said I live in FL so I dont care about heat but would like to know what could be the problem.

I really hope you haven't had the bleeder open with the car running? In fact don't touch the bleeder, just use your spill free funnel and a towel over the upper rad hose so you can squeeze it every now and then. Then just feel for the heater to blow hot air, takes ~10-15 minutes from start to finish.

JAYDM919 does your car have a hondata intake gasket? From what I remember that gasket renders the bleed port inoperative.

You could surely have a blend door problem, or a water valve problem.

Under the hood right next to the black header shield is the water valve, be sure it is fully forward when the interior knob is set to hot/red.

Post a pic of the valve if you like and I can tell you its open percentage.

Thank you everyone for your insight! I figured out the problem and got extreme hot heat coming out my vents. I noticed this morning the coolant reservoir hose was not submerged in water and had a crack in the reservoir. Ghetto rigged a water bottle and bleed the system again and started to get heat again. Did it about 2 times and let it idle with the spill free funnel.
