My battery is only a year old and has steadily been losing power, have had to charge it once a week. Drive 250 - 300 miles a week, this should charge the battery. The battery and alternator checked out okay at Autozone. Assuming there is a power drain, I shut off the dome light and stopped using the keyless entry - the power drain stopped, and battery has stayed fully-charged for a week now. I have since turned on my dome light, which is actuated when the doors open, and no power drain. CONCLUSION: The keyless entry is what has been draining my battery, anyone else experienced this problem?

 

Start using the keyless entry and see if the problem comes back.

Yes, the car is stock, maybe I will try key fob again after awhile, or, maybe get a new key fob.
