Default best way to remove windshield washer fluid reservoir?

Hi everyone.

Do the plastic rivets on the passenger front wheel well pop off with a screwdriver or are they the type that just pop out?
Do I need any special tools to wrangle this thing out?
I have a bad leak in mine that I am hoping to be able to mend.
Any tips?
Anyone notice that the cap for the reservoir is difficult to attach to the long tether.
Any recommendations on that one such as carefully heating the button that the tether is supposed to attach to?
thanks a bunch
Louis

They often crack with age, as far as I know, the fender has to come off to replace it.

You can pull it out with just removing the fender liner. No need to pull the entire metal fender off.

Paint chips on the bolts that hold the fender might devalue the car, idk lol. (a buyer will see it as past tampering or repair)
