Default which is better intake hose silicone or OEM

Happy holidays all so ive been looking for an intake hose for my 04 S with 155500 miles which is showing signs of crack by the clamp and i need to replace it, unfortunately i cant find any related topics under this site so i need to know which is the best hose for this car. Im leaning more towards silicone ones as they tend to be better than rubber and easy to work with Vs metal. i did some ebay search and came across 2 brands Note/G plus and HPS brand with almost triple price difference between them... any body using the G plus? and would wanna tell me about the fitment on the stock throttle body to the stock air filter along with any issues or performance difference. Input is appreciated!

in the old days the Honda intake arm boots were often corrugated. The one on the S2000 is perfectly smooth and it gives up nothing to the silicone hoses sold in the aftermarket so why bother with them.
