Brake Caliper Bracket wont Fit Over New Rotors
I'm wondering if I just bought the wrong brake rotors or if I'm doing something wrong.
I'm changing out my rotors both front and rear, and I started at the rear and the bracket arm won't fit over the rotor. I didn't even get to putting the caliper and pads back on. The rotor design looks like this.
The OEM rotor doesn't have the middle section inbetween the flat surfaces. The place I purchased the rotors from claim to fit all year s2000s... Return the rotors or is there another way?
Are rear rotors supposed to be vented?

A followup post, does anyone know how the max thickness for the front and rear rotors? I'm seeing 25mm front, 23mm replace and 12mm rear, 10mm replace. Would 26mm fit in the front?

If you fully compress the piston back into the caliper and still cannot get fresh pads to fit you can always remove a pad shim from each side if it's that tight. Or, go completely shimless.
