Yes gravity bleed is my method, but its not what you need since you have air in the system.
keep the brake pedal under moderate pressure, overnight. use a wodden rod or metal bar against the seat track. disconnect battery to disable brake lights.
enjoy your pedal in the morning, without picking up a wrench or pulling a wheel.

You should try the billman cure all bleed. Use a 2x4 to push the brake pedal down overnight. Disconnect the battery so the brake lights don't drain it. This should remove any air from the system.

There are scientific principles involved even I dont fully understand. Maybe someone can explain.
I was taugh this trick by an 83 year old guy, 25 years AGO It has proven 100% effective on hard to bleed systems that go airbound.
