Default Broken sensor, will it work if I fix it this way?

In the midst of reassembling my car, I've come across a broken sensor. It's the one directly below the intake manifold centered on the block. I have no idea what it's for. It's broken right off of the nut, so I was thinking I could super glue it back into place since it fits great. However, looking at the internal part of the sensor it has these two tiny wires that were soldered/glued to the back of the sensor. There is no possible way to reattach, so if I don't reattach those two mini wires will the sensor not operate correctly?

I really don't want to buy another sensor, since every time I turn around I have to keep spending money on replacement parts for the last month. And I don't want to take the manifold off again lol.

If not hopefully a member here as one I can buy ASAP

Thanks s2ki

Is the sensor green??? Than that is the knock sensor, the only way to fix it is replace it. Your out at least $150 bucks just for the sensor alone

Yep, replace. I think you can run without it but will throw a CEL and it's a safety sensor so not ideal.

You can replace without removing the manifold but it's quite a frustrating job finagling the tools in there. And don't over tighten, or you'll be out another $140.
