Sure. But in the event of a rollover your head will be crushed or your neck will be broken. And in the event of a frontal crash whatever you've wrapped the harnesses around/bolted them to will probably break.

If you roll over your dead anyways.

And not true about the breaking part.....you can always use the same bolt your seatbelts are attached to now aswell as the seat bolts.

I agree with Nobody. It is a very bad idea to put in a 4, 5 or 6-point harness in the car unless it is properly mounted. Having sufficient rollover protection is also very important. I have no idea where you get the idea that if you roll over that your dead. I know several people that have done this in Miatas with properly installed rollbars and harnesses and they are just fine. There have been several stories on this board of people in completely stock S2000s rolling over and not having serious injuries.

It isn't clear if you're planning to do this from you post, but it is imperative that you not wrap the shoulder straps over your shoulder and down to the floor. If you do this it is likely that you will severely compress your spine in a frontal accident. Also, the only safe 4-point harness that I know of is made by Schroth. Otherwise, you'l need to go to a 5 or 6-point with proper shoulder strap mounts.

Here's a link to a lengthy thread that I started on this topic. Please read all the way through it before making any decisions.

I know a guy that rolled his S at 100 and walked away. Dont downplay Honda safety engineers. If you install the harnesses you will most likely, as everyone else has said, be decapitated.

As far mounting it on the stock locations, thats a bad idea also, those points are designed for the stock belt, not a 4 point belt. And 4 point belts suck, in the event of a crash you will submarine and the lap belts will ride up into your gut, possibly causing internal bleeding and bruised organs.

Do not mess with your safety features unless you do it correctly.
