imo, it's gotta be the temp swings. How far is your drive to work? From what you've said, i'm betting it's a short one. If your buddy's s2k is doing the same thing then....

My drive to work is 22 miles each way, and this is just irritating me because the car has been running like a champ and I really do not beat on the car at all. Its a baby too with 20k on it

Tried the map whack? It could be the MAP sensor.

Update fired her up this morning

After 56 miles of Techron Concentrate and this morning was 46 degrees versus 31 degrees of last morning.

Gingerly accelerated the car until full 3 bars and also waited a good 10 minutes after 3 bars. And I ripped it to redline in to 100mph and NO HESITATION or bogging, smooth power under full throttle. Coincidence of the warmer temperatures, or maybe I did have water in my gas and the Techron helped flush it out. Either way I am happy and am not going to be filling up at that station ever again.

ahah glad to hear it!
I guess watered down gas is something we will see more and more of with the rising price of it.

I have never noticed bad gas in my car personally, but I keep my tank low enough at all times that I could drown it out with a lot of good gas.

The only product I know that removes water from the gas tank is Heat in a yellow bottle, it is alcohol based and mixes the water with it so it can go trough and burn. I use it every 6th tank full in mine.

seafoam also "dries" gas the same way...I used a can of it and a can of octane boost to flush mine.

Gas stations here in the states are monitored for their water content.

Also, water is denser than gasoline. If fuel stations added water to their gasoline holding tanks, the water would end up in the bottom of the tank. Somebody would get a tank full of water, and it would be pretty obvious.

Keeping your tank low on fuel will result in more surface area for water condensation from the air.

well i used and injector cleaner and water dryer and the problem went away so i guess that water was the issue and when it got really cold i only had 1/4 tank so seattle2k you are problably right.
