Have you tried using a spare key? Just something simple to try. I've been a tech for about 10 years now and I've seen countless amount of vehicles with no start issue simply because the immobilizer has trouble seeing the key. Or can you at least verify that the green key light turns off after doing key on? The fuel pump not priming makes me think it's related to that...

Have you scanned for the stored trouble codes?

I thought I'd throw in my experience. So, I had the flickering dash lights for quite some time (I know alternator rebuild). One day I had a hard start and that encouraged me to go ahead and watch the YouTube DIYGuys videos and rebuild the alternator. It fixed the flickering dash lights, but still hard starts. After searching the forums for hard start solutions and finding nothing useful I searched no start with good battery and alternator and finally found these immobilizer threads. Then this guy suggests to use the accessory key and it turns right on every time with it! The crazy thing is, the green key light doesn't stay on with my regular key. I guess that's just the immobilizer dying or my regular key's gotten worn down or something.

Long story short I endorse trying out your accessory key even if the green key light goes off with your regular key inserted.
