Default Car doesn't feel right

I noticed the other day that the handling in my S started to get a little wierd. Its hard to explain but its kind of twitchy at highway speeds and turning it non-linear. What I mean is that when I am turning the wheel a slowly it doesn't turn much then turns more suddenly and just feels wierd. Also if brake really hard or some what hard at high speeds it makes a noise from the front drivers side wheel aread like shoosh shoosh shoosh like its rubbing on something, but does not happen under normal braking. I took the wheel off and didn't see anything obvious

The car had a UK alignment maybe 9 months ago (and has been fine) and is lowered with KWv3 coilovers, and will rub on the drivers side over a large bump at speed.

So I'm trying to get ideas, right now I am thinking maybe one of my dampers is blown maybe, is there a way to tell?

Thanks for any help

Blown dampner will make a clunking noise. Most suspension issues will make a more severe noise (click, bang, clunk, etc).

Do the obvious first...check tire pressures. That frequently causes the S2k to be even more twitchy.

Check to make sure the plastic KW collar on the threaded shock body hasn't cracked and suddenly lowered your car at one wheel...or is lower for any other reason.

Make sure your swaybar links have not broken.

Swooshing noise sounds more like an inner fender is dragging on a tire.

Thanks for the reply, that helps. I'll be checking some of those things tonight.
