Default Car won't start on cold mornings?

hey guys, i've been havign this problem for a while now and i can't seem to find the problem. if you guys can help that would be great.

when i try to start my car in cold mornings, whish isn't even that cold, prob from 12 degrees to 15 degrees, it won't start. i can't hear the fuel pump starting whirring and starting up. but later on in the day when it gets warmer, it works again. first i thought my fuel pump was dying, so i changed it, and teh same problem occurs. i checked my ignition coils, and checked spark plugs which all seems to be fine. the main thing is, when it doesn't start, i can't hear the fuel pump.

if it matters, all i've done to my motor is basic bolt ons, with ngk iriway spark plugs, and i just replace the fuel pump with a oem replacement fuel pump.

Thanks for the help everyone.

Jon

Batteries are weaker in the cold...good indication that your battery is on it's way out.

Optimas are known to fail prematurely...it's also a deep cycle battery that doesn't have as much cold cranking capability. Get it load tested.

thinking battery. Easy way to test is to charge the battery and try to start.
