Changing o2 sensors as maintenance?

NTK and Denso are both good, just different brands, both should work similarly.

The original O2 sensor looks a bit different than the a late model (AP2) air/fuel ratio sensor. Wiring color? Guess it doesn't matter.

I was getting a CEL and A/F sensor code in my 2006. I ordered a new OEM A/F sensor and it looked exactly like the first pic you posted with the green wire. When I pulled the old sensor out of my header, this is what it looked like. Anybody know what its from?
