chirping/screeching noise from the front
Hello everyone,
So I started hearing this new sound from the front of the car, but strangely it's only audible with the top up, once you drop either windows or top, you can't hear it, it also can't be really heard from the engine bay.
The noise happens between 2k and 3.5k revs, anything higher or lower it goes away, I've replaced my TCT fairly recently with a balladesports one, so I doubt it's a TCT failure. I also have a comptech S/C kit.
Also, the noise does not change between gears, or even when you have disengaged the clutch or is in neutral, so I doubt it's a transmission issue.
I've been looking around the forums to help me diagnose the problem, so far I've been pointing the finger at a possible pulley and/or belt from what I've gathered from other posts, but none have the exact description as my own problem.
I have attached an audio file with the noise, it's very faint and hard to hear, but it's there.
