Rack screws are tight.

I have only touched it and nothing else !

Thank you

Has anybody tried adjusting the rack guide?

Up ! :-/

I always have this noise, it comes from the entrance of the steering rack (at the level of the spine).

The 19mm bolts felt pretty snug, but probably only around 60-70 ft/lb. It took a few tries to get enough leverage to torque them to 85ft/lb while it was on jack stands. The 17mm bolts were also a little loose, but didn't seem as bad.

Rear subframe seemed to be torqued properly, as well as the front/rear upper/lower arms.

I tried to reproduce the clunk/pop again, but haven't been able to yet. Hopefully this is the permanent fix.
Itoes the noise when I have pressure on the wheels after it clunks while still it doesn't do it all the time dis you fix this problem and it's only while I'm turning left please get back to me ty

This is one of the very likely reasons. Though, I'm sure peoples' racks clunk for multiple reasons, rack guide adjustment is a good recommendation.

The rack guide, bruv. Adjustment of #10 and #6 modifies the load of #5 on to #7. This changes the amount of preload on the rack.

DO NOT do this without reading the service manual on how to do it. Don't just turn the screw like a GD maniac.

I think i have the exact same problem. Seems like its coming from the inside of the steering rack.

well, after 3 years and about 8k miles i finally found the issue: apparently the bolts for the camber plate were loose, so much to the point that it threw my camber to -1.2 degrees (when I aligned it 8k miles ago it was set back to -0.5) . I'm not sure how they got loose; I doubt that it was my megan racing engine mounts but who knows. It looks like others do experience this too, so if it happens again pretty soon I'll probably replace the camber nuts and bolts.
