never mind! i got it. went to sears for a 36mm socket and a nice 1/2 bar. i also got a torque wrench but i didnt end up using it. i just made sure the original stake was at around 2 oclock. after doing both the click is now gone!

Can the clutch fork be worn and make noise?

Was there any other fixes with this other than axle bolts/nuts?

I am experiencing the same noise. But mine only does it only when turning slowly (<10mph), and clutch in or in neutral ONLY. If I left the clutch engaged in any gear, it doesn't make that noise. What could this be?

need some help here iv searched high and low and can't find a direction now. My car (2001 s2000 78k miles) now sounds like someone's beating on a large drum also. Going into first while turning (doesn't seam to do it going straight) its a loud clunking coming from the rear I can feel it under my seat. Iv tried the Axel nut fix / tab. No luck there but damn were they loose. Still clunking like crazy on sharp turns mostly first sometimes second. Someone said to hold the clutch in longer tried that. Someone said when you shift into gear to give it a couple seconds before releasing the clutch tried that. Tried keeping the rpms around 3/4k but still wants to clunk clunk clunk on sharp turns at low speeds / sharper turns. Idk what to think iv flushed the differential and saw nothing alarming. Everything seams nice and tight under there iv checked 3 times now. Nothing seams alarming what could it be

Please excuse the novel SOMEONE HELP PLEASSSSSSE
