Default clutch fluid

how often are you suppose to change out the clutch fluid? I'm at 70k miles and so far so good but wasnt sure what routine calls for, did not see it in the manual.

I do mine every 5,000 - 6,000 miles. Billman250 recommended intervals in this range, and I have absolutely noticed a difference. Post #12 in this thread:

Lots of other great info on this topic in the thread too. Thanks Billman!

I use the Ranger method on all my cars at every oil change. He wrote this for Vettes, but it can apply to any clutch.

Fluid is cheap....Hard parts are not.

IMO.......

I just changed mine last night since I haven't changed it in a while and it's a night and day difference! Pop the top on the clutch master cylinder and see If the fluid is dirty or not. It's definitely worth changing if you haven't changed it yet. Just make sure not to get fluid on any paint on the car. Shits nasty
