Clutch Pedal
Hey guys,
Just past 40K miles on my '05 S2000. I'm now starting to have an issue with the clutch pedal right at the start of a push. I dont even have to be in gear. ie: sitting in the drive way with car on in neutral, pushing down on the clutch pedal feels as it should. However if I were to rev it up to about 5K+ and push on the clutch pedal again it gets a little stuck at the beginning. Driving the car produces the same results. The higher the RPM the stickier the pedal gets. Any ideas? Thanks, Paul |
All i can think of is that your throw out bearing and shaft needs to be greased up..

I have the same problem with my S2k(47000km), Honda SA said the clutch master cylinder needs to be replaced.

leegungiah,
So does yours do it with out any load on it (neutral)? dbzerk, Is that something people do on a regular basis? Am I not better off waiting for a full clutch replacement since the bearing gets replaced with it..? I can't possibly have more than a couple thousand miles left on this clutch. It hasn't seen an easy day in its life, surprised it went past 20K. |
