Clutch Replacement, Questions regarding FW and PP
so i will be replacing the clutch disc, throwout bearing and pilot bearing.
can i get away with re-using the pressure plate, and resurfacing the flywheel?
what is the life of the flywheel and pressure plate if i wanted to use them to the max? I have 90K miles on the car on original clutch, fw, and pp.
also, the service manual states that resurfacing the flywheel is Not Recommended...should i ignore this and resurface anyway?
thanks.

Personally I wouldn't resuse the pressure plate. It gets weaken from all the use, and adds just a little more to the overall cost. You'll be doing the whole job again if the plate fails.

I know some have successfully resurfaced the flywheel. But while you are in there it is a very good opportunity to get a lighter flywheel, which is a good mod. Unbelievebly, the cheapo 9lb flywheel sold on ebay is the same as the very expensive Spoon flywheel.
