Clutch wont work. Throw out bearing? Any help appreciated
Hey guys, my transmission is acting up for the third time in pretty much a month and a half and im starting to lose it!
Basically, I just put in a new Excedy clutch and everything was great for about 2 and a half weeks, until the other day it just would not go into gear using the clutch. If I get the car in gear with a rev match and apply throttle, the clutch does not slip, so that's not broken. A couple hours prior to this I started noticing a weird buzzing at high rpm and in between shifts. My Master cyl appears to be good and I haven't been able to check the slave because the car is stuck at someones house. I'm thinking its the throwout bearing? The pedal has no feel and will not engage/disengage the clutch.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated

I don't know if this helps, but my throw out bearing has been messed up for the past 7,000 miles or so, but my clutch works perfectly fine. The noise is just annoying. So it might be something else?

Something is wrong with your clutch. Check under the car and verify the skave is mounted right. Then take your tranny off and repair your whole clutch. Get the flywheel surfaced if youu cann

^ This. The symptoms you describe have little if anything to do with the TO bearing. You said master looks fine. Other than catastrophic mechanical failure or no fluid, a visual of it won't tell you anything.
