There’s nothing wrong with being a purist but some of us love the S2000 with a passion and want that 400+ from the car we love. I loved my S2000 in stock form too it’s just I’m building this into my dream car. There’s nothing wrong with keeping it stock either in my eyes but to each their own, you know?

I honestly will probably end up between 400-500hp. My goal was to get 500hp on 93 pump but I want the tune to be safe and not pushing it to the limits of the fuel. My engine is a sleeved F24 with 9.0:1 turbo pistons. John at InlinePRO seems to think I’d get 500 easy on 93. I’ll be happy with 400-500 though for more reliability. I plan to fully upgrade the diff, axels and transmission eventually. I plan on doing the 9” Ford conversion with upgraded axels and driveshaft. That’s down the road though. I think you’re right about aiming under 500 until after I upgrade the drivetrain. I want to go ACT/OEM for the clutch because I want great drivability but will that even work with 400-500hp? Or should I say could it handle around 350lbs of torque?

I’ve decided to go OEM/ACT for the time being. I honestly feel like I will need to go twin disc but that is overkill right now until I get my turbo kit. My wife is just about to graduate from nursing school so it’ll be after she starts working before I can start putting money towards the turbo. It’s a single income household until then. Lol Thanks for all the input guys. I really appreciate it.
I never thought I’d have to spend so much time trying to decide on a clutch. I was thinking about going ballade turbo or SoS Turbo clutch but then the more I thought about it those may not be good enough either in the long run and I don’t want to wear out a twin disc clutch while I’m not even turboed. So I guess I’ll just put a twin disc in at the same time I install my turbo kit.

Maybe just turbo it and see if it slips and then change it if needed. You might be fine as-is.
Be nice to have a "normal" engagement clutch for street use.
