Default Comptech Header - Worth it??

I was thinking of adding a comptech header to my car but for $300 I am hoping for a noticeable difference in performance. Can anyone that has one tell me whether its a good idea and if it actually makes the feel of the car any different? Also, what is the whole deal about the heat sheid not matching? I don't get it? Please help.

Where did you find a Comptech header for $300? For that price, I would buy it just to be able to say I found a Comptech header for $300!

The factory S2000 exhaust header has been dyno proven to be very efficient. Certain headers are available that will maximize power delivery at certain RPM (such as large bore headers for racing use where you will maintain high RPM engine speeds). Don't expect a shocking change in the power that your S2000 will put out with the header.

$300? what do you mean? it lists for $989.95!

I dont think you are going to have a noticable change in this, it might be slight in some parts of the powerband but nothing in a seat-of-the-pants dyno. You'll shave 10lbs from the stock header, that's it.

Comptech always puts out quality parts. I wouldn't doubt seeing a slight power increase. Didn't their header for the V6 Accord gain a lot???
