Coolant drain & fill or full flush
I am tossing on a different fan switch, so I want to do something to the coolant. The previous owner did a drain and fill @ 100k miles with Honda coolant. The dealership indicated that most just do a drain and fill as well. That said everything on here suggests a complete flush. I am assuming the answer is "it isn't much harder", but just trying to figure out the advantage to a full flush and if it is really needed.

I don't see the point in doing an entire flush. Doing a drain & fill is so simple. I'm not sure what the whole system capacity is, but you are replacing a ton of coolant even by doing just a drain & fill. Eventually the stuff you filled will mix in with the rest of the system. If you want to convince yourself there is minimal "old" coolant, you could even do a couple drain and fills, separated by a few days of driving.

no flush is needed. no reason to "flush" the system- don't waste your time. just remove the old and go in with the new. Check out the coolant change sticky to be sure you do it right. And by right, i mean with HONDA coolant. BUY THE REAL stuff.
