Default Coolant leak?

For starters, I have a mishimoto rad. So I was driving to work today, and at one point decided to open up and hit vtec. I have a vented hood so I got a massive spray on my windshield as soon as I hit 7k rpm-ish and smelled coolant. I slowed down and drove the rest of the way without vtec, no coolant smell and I was keeping my eye on the temp gauge. Once I got to work I popped the hood and I had coolant around the radiator cap, and the wet spots are right above the radiator cap. Due to the fact that it sprayed everywhere, I feel like I cant isolate where it came. Does anybody have any experience with this kind of issue?

Would it spray everywhere, and be completely fine outside of vtec? I left it idling hoping I could spot something, but nothing anywhere

Have your cap tested, it may be failing below it's rated pressure. The same pressure test tool can determine leaks at the radiator.
