Coolant temperature

Default Coolant temperature

I've been looking for the average coolant temp, my aem is reading ~220-225 degrees..

I'm anywhere from 170-205. Stuck in traffic on a very hot day just cycles the fan through, but it rarely goes above 215.

That seems really high. How are you getting the temp (Kpro, a aftermarket gauge)?? Ahh I see AEM, does that just use the stock sensor?

correct, stock sensor and i'm getting this through my aem.

you need to make sure your coolant tables are setup correctly. With the coolant tables from the AEM forums, the thermostat opens at 180 and you shouldnt see over 195 if you are running stock fan switches.

Not 100% sure, but I think that 3 bars on an AP1 is some wild range, like....165-235 or something
