Default devilish idea..SR20DET in AP1

Hey guys,
Well, Im planning on going turbo soon, but I have this idea of putting sr20 into s2k, any thoughts on that?
I love turbo cars and sr20 is one of the best turbo engines made, engine itself is not expensive, mounts are not too hard to make, I already have aem ems....
All I need is opinions now....
Thanks,
Brad

sounds like a great idea. the SR20 is one of the most bullet-proof 4 bangers ever built. with enough time and money, anything is possible. will it be worth it? well that's all up to you.

Anything can be done if you have the time and money. The wiring will take some time to figure out. You're going to be on your own with that since you will most likely be the first to attempt this swap. You have a S2000 EMS and you're going to be running a Nissan motor, which obviously don't have the same exact sensors and that's what will make things a little difficult. It can be figured out though. At the end I think you'll regret doing that to the S2K. I also love boosted cars and I owned a 430WHP hatch that I miss, but I don't think I would ever swap the motor out of my S2000. It's too nice to mess around with like that. If I were you, I would just buy a S13 or S14 and swap it in there. They(car and motor) are cheap to find and you won't regret it. You'll have the best of both worlds, a boosted car and a nice NA car. Good luck.

the f20c is what makes a s2000, why swap in a lowly nissan motor just because you want boost. sure it is a bulletproof engine for a turbo setup but it's downgrading IMO.

Ugh well if you don't know, in the movie they took a S2000 and dropped a sr20 in to it. I just thought it was interesting, someone on the forum was going to do the same thing. Anyways goodluck with your project!
