Default Can anyone help me what makes this noise?

Hello guys.

I just replaced spark plugs (NGK Iridium ones) ever in my life.

The car runs smoothly, but I noticed it makes some weird sound.

I hope somebody can tell me what this is.

Thanks in advance.

The sound is very close to valve lash. (the idle seems to running smooth; no breaking down or hesitation present)

Q: Was the clatter sound noticeable before you changed the plugs and what is the mileage?

I cannot hear the sound while I'm driving.

The sound can be heard only when the car is stopped.

I think I heard the sound before I replaced the spark plugs, but not all the time. Maybe once or twice.

The mileage is 109k.

Also, recently, when I start the engine, it stays at 2000 RPM for a few minutes. It used to be less than 1000 RPM.

Thought I heard some TCT noise, hard to say...post a clip sitting inside the car with the windows open. TCT noise usually comes out clear then.

I made two video clips.

First one: Cold start

You can clearly see RPM's around 2000 when the engine is cold.

And the noise is not very noticeable from inside the car.

Second one: After a few minutes of drive

It seems like the sound is coming from the belt thingy (I don't know the term for that.).

I pressed the clutch to see if there is any difference in noise, but it didn't help me.

Any idea?

Edit: It sounds like a diesel car.
