Default Transmission or shifter assembly?
Hey guys past few weeks my car have hard time going into reverse I can’t push it down. Feels like nothing when I try to push down but I can somehow still reverse. Today my 5th and 6th gear won’t work either? 1-4 is fine.


any advice is appreciated thx

Is the shifter spring in there? Doesn't sound like it.

should be sometimes it will go down and up like normal. But today 5th and 6th didn’t work. It can still reverse. Will take it apart and check.

Sounds like you should check the transmission fluid.

If you can’t push it down, it is 100% a shifter problem.

Has nothing to do with fluid or anything else.
