Does your S2K burn oil?
My Ap2 burns 1 qt every 12-15K. drives me nuts! And like blacks2k, compression and leakdown tests checked-out fine, and the engine runs great. Part of me wants to deal with it, but I'm also seriously considering to open the engine up, and change the rings, valve seals...etc. And be done with it.

Yeah definite problem with your car to be burning that much!!!!!! Get it checked out. Sounds like bad piston rings or something.
So every 3k miles you will have gone through 6 quarts of oil?? Yeah not how it should be even for cars that do normally burn oil.
Edit: Saw you already leakdown tested it and compression tested it. Just seems like a ton of oil to be burning.

Should i be worried about my engine? Not sure what kind of damage i could be doing..but i always make sure it has plenty of oil it is never starved.
Wouldn't i notice a difference in performance if my car had serious internal problems?

yeah i probably go through about 5 or 6 quarts between oil changes. I know it is a pretty extreme amount, but it has never bothered me that much.
