^^ Yep...very easy.

And Thanhstar...your car would have rode like a dream if you swapped CV buckets too.

^^ It won't come back if you leave it at the new ride height. If you change the ride height significantly again 20k miles or so later, then it may come back.

If you want to go back to stock height, then just swap the buckets again so that the spider rollers are back in their old wear spot.
It will come back, but gradually so it's not as apparent (night and day right when you change the ride height). Using the swapping technique and spacers gives you 4 chances at a fresh wear surface.

^^ It must be reeeeaaaallly gradual. There are plenty of 100k+ s2ks out there that don't have the pitting vibration even though they must be pitted. Hell, it's been 60k miles since I swapped buckets and I still don't the shakes.

See now this is what I'm talking about, I have been trying out several S2000 Forums only to find the members had no knowledge about the car, and every time you ask a ligament question all you would receive is smack, slander, smart ass useless answers. Thank you all for not being that way, and negcamber thanks for the answer on this question I will be buying the T!R spacers soon, and become a Member of this forum, Thanks.

Can someone describe this vibration in a little detail?

I do get a very annoying vibration that only seems to occur around 77-78 mph and higher, but it feels like its in the front right side, not in the rear. I've had it for a long time and also been lowered about 1.5" for a long time. 112k miles on car.

This problem sounds more like a rear end only issue, but maybe I'm just dumb and cant tell a rear vibration from a front vibration.

I've got some 1 piece spacers already, juts havent installed them, wasn't sure they were worth using.

Thanks,
J

You'll know when it's from the rear. The way mine is really pronounced is under HEAVY acceleration in 4th or between 3.5k and 4.5k RPMs in 6th gear. Also under slight acceleration around the on or off ramp the rear end is really twitchy and vibrating.

Yours sounds like worn out tire issue. Could also be Balancing/Bent Wheel/ or some other problem.
