Default Dyno Runs

so I just ran my car on the dyno today. Used mustang awd dyno
Max Power: 190 @ 8500
Pax Torque 127.5 @ 6750

Pretty dissapointing considering I have a test pipe, cat back and cai. I should be dynoing higher #s stock. I don't think I lost any power with the mods though. I think the low #s are from the heat (around 100 degrees) and from the fact its on a mustang dyno.

On that run there must have been a glitch cause my AFR shot up to 20.9

Hopefully with some afr tuning I will be able to pull in some better #s.

I will post up the charts a little later when I can scan them.

Well Mustang dyno are notorious for lower numbers, and it was hot.

Add about 10% for dynojet, and 20% for dynopak numbers.

Any shop that has one in your area. Check your local forums.

I did this on a dyno day (Thanks Gruppe-S) and it was a good price of $50

Why doesn't anybody post the actual dyno plots and a/f ratios? Peak numbers don't mean anything, it's the deltas and area under the curve that matter.

Mustang and Dynodynamics dynos place a load on the car to simulate the conditions you would see on the road. This is why the numbers you get are lower than a DynoJet. You can't really compare numbers across different brands of dynos just because of the way they operate and the output power.

From the numbers you provided, a rough calculation would give you 218-222 whp and 146-148wtq. That's good in my book.
