So while I had the head off, decided to inspect it and found some leaky valves. Due to time constraints, I installed another head I had at home and dropped this one off at InlinePro. The leaking #3 valve explains the higher leakdown #s I was seeing when I had 1st build the engine.

Installed an OEM head gasket, adjusted the valves, and buttoned it up. Did a compression test and the results were 235 235 240 240. Leak down is sitting at 5% across. Test drove and the engine is running normally. I'm transferring the car to a friend who will be daily driving it with the intention of driving the initial 5,000 miles and tracking oil consumption.

Now that this project moves on to regular usage, I will be making another thread when I begin building the engine for my other s2k.

If anything changes, I will report it here. Thank you all for your advice.
