Mine was actually below the header.

Or just set a timer for 5 seconds then hold the phone till it flashes. Luckily my phone has a shutter button on the back that I can press with my index finger while holding it in one hand.

OK, you guys are calling it a VIN...

Is it the chassis VIN? Or is it just a serial number for the engine that obviously has data encoded within it?

Thats not the engine block, that's the tranny bell housing. Hence trans VIN.

I still can't get a good angle on my phone camera. Let me know if anyone has any ideas.
