F20 c oil consumption?
#25
i changed to Motul 6100 5w40 for my track day and didn't burn any oil, i checked my dip stick a week later and it was still reading full on both sides...
some of you are gonna hate me for this, but i didn't change my oil for like 6k miles after that lol, this is my daily also.
drained my oil and was at about 3.5qts that came out. so 1.5qts of oil burned.
now that i have a surplus of Motul 6100 and 300v... i'm going back to regular maintenance again.

@ Chuck S: Castrol, Shell, Mobil1, Liqui Moly, Ravenol, Rowe, all this oil cost about 10,- € / Liter for the zop of the line full synthetic here.
Red Line is the one that stands out. Inflated Import prices.
Royal Purple is unknown here, they dont have a distributor. But you can get some form the US via Amazon for 33,-€ / Quart.
VALVE COVER MOD: Could somebody enlighten me please? A modification to the crankase ventilation i guess?

That is why you don't burn oil.
