Default Flywheel weight

Had a flywheel out of an 04 today.....it is considerably heavier and thicker than earlier models. I didn't even look at an old one, I could tell right away just by pulling it off the engine. if I had a scale I could weight it....anybody know what it weighs?

Interesting observation. I have seen in the past that manufacturers will increase FW weight when they are having too many clutch warranty claims.. a heavier unit may not wrap up as fast but it does reduce the occasions where the driver slips the clutch.
